In the ESL/EFL industry, there are many stories of sub-standard conditions and neglect or abuse of contractual terms between teachers and employers. While this is definitely a real issue in the ESL world, we believe there are a number of things that can be done to protect your interests and ensure that your experience stays a postive one while you are working overseas.

We thoroughly screen each of the schools we represent (as well as teachers) and we constantly keep in contact with the directors and current teachers working at each institution to stay informed of the conditions at the school and the relationship between the teachers and the director. In the initial hiring process, we review the contracts of each school and scrutinize every detail to be sure they are written and presented in a fair and reasonable manner with no room for any abuse of terms. Our schools are hand-picked as we are VERY selective of the schools we will represent.

When we advertise a job on our site, we try to give you as much information as possible about the location, your apartment, the director and the school itself, so as to make your job selection easy. Once you have job offers, we will provide you with contact numbers and email addresses of current teachers (or even the director, if you wish) to allow you to ask them questions directly.
